SPLA is a new way to get the software licensing you need to run your business. Gone are the days that you have to purchase a box product and replace it with a fully purchased new product in order to upgrade. With SPLA you can, for example, rent Microsoft Windows Server, and as long as you are paying the monthly fee, and Iteology has access to the server, you are entitled to use the latest software version at no extra cost.
So what does this mean? It means that the need to regularly and expensively upgrade your Microsoft Software, as was the case in the past, no longer exists. This can now be done for a monthly fee. Fee calculations are either based on Server/CPU Cores, or per User, or a combination of both Server/CPU Cores and Users.
Turning licenses into monthly operating expenses allows better management of cash flow, avoiding the one large payment when an upgrade becomes due. This also allows for flexibility should staff numbers change.
Microsoft is phasing out box products. Therefore in future, one would either have to rent licenses or purchase them through a Volume License Provider. Iteology is in a position to assist with any requirement in this regard.
Put your business in a position to always have the latest and best software from Microsoft. below are examples of some Microsoft products that can be rented through Iteology. Contact Iteology for a quote.
